Track workout 2.24.09

Professor (Fernando) was modifying our workout because we raced Amherst 10 miler on Sunday... and I wishfully showed up thinking I could just run easy. Ahhh, the power of my trackmates. I love them in a way that any nonrunner could never understand... yes, they pulled me through the gasping, fully focused, exclamations... entire workout.

I haven't been in a track group with Cougar or Doc D in years, they are very fast... but last night, they led our group and made me feel like as fast girl. It was a priviledge. Also in our group, Hill Checkherout, Judge & Dan Frank made for an incredible workout. Nothing like that feeling as you are driving home, full of endorphins, realizing you made it through another.

Last night, Goon trackmates Mrs. Triage, Judge and Mt Goat felt privileged to have "national champion" Linda Jennings leading our group. Her talent and determination is extraordinary, we just tried to keep as close behind her as we could... follow her cue.

Judge had his first complete track workout since injury and he got through the entire 14 hill intervals!

The temp was right to sport my new GSR jacket... color Goon Green, of course. I apologize for my incessant butt wiggling... trying to show off the GSR logo located on the "tail" of the jacket... I couldn't help myself
